Photoshop- Block repeat/ half drop repeat/ mirror repeat

1)
This is the block I used to be repeated in a pattern.

2)
This is a block repeat pattern.

                                            3)
From the block repeat, I moved the second and the fourth column down by half the size of the original block (2cm).This is a half drop repeat pattern.

3)
From the block repeat, I flipped the second and the fourth column horizontally. This is a mirror repeat pattern.

5)
I then flipped the first and the third row vertically. This is another mirror repeat pattern.

  1. I love this pattern and have been trying to find how to do this. Did you do this in photoshop? Will give it a try but if I get stuck do you have any more info on the repeat process? Thanks!

    1. Hey, thanks! Yes, I did this in photoshop, wasn't easy as it was my first time :| I made the original block by hand - paper marbling using paint, and then I cropped it on photoshop to the section that I really liked. Ermm I actually can't remember how I did the repeat process, sorry :| I suggest you have a look on youtube for tutorials on photoshop :)
